The Collection of Smoking Accessories was created in 2013 when objects that were already part of the Museum's holdings were included in it. It contains 326 objects: pipes, cigarette holders, tobacco boxes, cigarettes and matches, snuff boxes, tobacco pouches, fire starters, tools for making pipes and clay pipes, etc. The objects have been collected continuously since 1921 through the work of museum trustees, field research and donations from citizens. Most of them were made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The oldest pipe in the Collection dates back to the 16th century, and the last one to arrive was made in 2013. Zelovo near Sinj was known for the production of clay pipes sold at fairs until the end of the 20th century. Today, some individuals are trying to revive the tradition and market the pipes as souvenirs that also have their place in the Collection.
